To all Art Fans,

Today's installment is about someone who is not on our site. (Yet!) This artist was brought to my attention by Ronald Henderson. (rsidneyartworks@mac.com) I went to the site for R. Sidney and was fortunate to see the work in an art show in Norcross, Georgia. It is a combination of nature and human creations in very asymmetrical manner. The combination of soft feature contrasting hard lines create a visual experience that touches this viewer. I found myself staring at the work quite intensely. My favorite pieces of his work is the "Dancer" series. Check it out and tell me what you think. Part of the recognition that the artists has received are:
2007 4 BRIDGES ART FESTIVAL - 1ST PLACE DRAWING/PASTEL.
38TH MULBERRY STREET FESTIVAL - HONORABLE MENTION FINE ART.
2006 31ST ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF MASTERS - JUDGES SELECTION AWARD.
4 BRIDGES ART FESTIVAL - 1ST PLACE DRAWING/PASTEL.
ARTS CLAYTON GALLERY - HONORABLE MENTION FINE ART.
AFRICAN AMERICANS FOR THE ARTS - HONORABLE MENTION FINE ART.
GREAT GULF COAST ART FESTIVAL - JUDGES SELECTION AWARD.

You can also view other talented people on my site at www.findartbuyart.com.

Tomorrow's installment will be Heather Boardman. If that last name sounds familiar, it should be. She is the wife of yesterday's featured artist, Harry Boardman. She creates original jewelry art.
